Phil,
That beer festival you mentioned intnhe Atelier, wherein manchetsre is it? and is it still on this saturday afternoon? I find myself with some hours to kill in Manchester before a gig on Saturday.

Hi egon, the beer festival runs till saturday night and is at the piccadilly hotel, just near piccadilly gardens (and the bus station). There should still be lots of beer left as there was about 260 to start served through 64 hand pumps. Entrance is £3 which includes 1 for the glass (refundable).

I may drop in for an hour or two tomorrow afternoon then. (sorry for the bad typing last night, was just back from a few hours drinking some real ales and one suspiciously bright orange cider in the Looking Glass pub in Warrington, and that sort of thing plays hell with the ability to type)
