Hi Jen,
Thanks for asking - but it's dragging on summink' 'orrible. Or at least the muscular pains are. I've been out of action almost a week - can't believe it. Only the 2nd time in my life I've ever had the 'flu so may be hitting me extra hard. I remember the first time, tho' and they thought for a while I was a gonna, back then (must be nearly 30 yrears ago). In future I shall be right at the front of the queue for the free french jab.
Send more hugs - I think they're coming thro'

Hi Jen,
To be exact, it's been 12 days and this is the first time I've felt almost normal. Still a bit of back pain if I move too quickly. I'm going into Nice today for the first time in a fortnight.
Haven't felt up to doing more than browsing GetWriting since it all began (the flu, not GW - hey, an attempt at a joke - things must be getting better.)
The weather here's been a bit duff, too, but is suddenly glorious again. That's gotta make a difference.
