I've read some of your work and find it very clever, amusing and elegant. I am going to read all of your work on this site as I am fascinated by your style and subects. Can you let me have the titles of any novels or short stories you have written that I may purchase or find in the library?
With best wishes,
Graham Forster.

Hi MarcelWilde,
What a kind person you are. You flatter me for, although I have been published, my successes if you can call them that amount to about 20 short stories over a fairly long period - London Mystery Selection, Sunday Post (The Scottish National Weekly), and a few magazxines. The most I was ever paid for a short story was £200 each for two in a now defunct magazine publishing "erotica" for young ladies. I started writing poetry very recently and so far have won one competiton (£60) and had two others published with no payment.
Novels - I wish. Books of short stories on sale internationally - I dream.
For most of my career, I did write for a living (a good one) as an advertising copywriter in several well-known advertising agencies in the UK.
For a period of 2-3 years I wrote comic scripts for childrens comics working for IPC and D C Thompson in the UK, Very very hard work but great fun and quite lucrative if you could sand the pace.
I'm getting more interested in poetry now but where this will go I've no idea.
Many thanks MW for your interest and kind words and I shall be interested in your comments. They don't have to be kind ones. I'm looking to improve, Graham mate,
Bribrow

Hello Bribrow,
Sorry for the tardy response; I've just noticed your reply - am still getting used to the site as I only signed up on the 1st of September. Didn't realise comments were stacking up from past postings still.
Please continue with the poetry as I do enjoy reading your efforts.
Marcel Wilde.

Hi Marcel,
I made a few comments on your piece "Bognor Regis" which you may find useful.
Not far from where I used to love!
