h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have been rather preoccupied of late trying to set up a web site (painting dog portraits to commission, have you got a dog?)
I came back on line yesterday and posted a couple of things.
I read your ‘Pipa’ piece and enjoyed it. The only reservation I have is that it’s rather heavy on dialogue. I mention this because, as a short story, the reader is left filling in the blanks in a big way. It might lend itself better to being converted into a radio play. Anyway, up at six, must go to bed.

Thanks for commenting on Pippa. I'll think about it as a radio play but I'd almost given up on that genre having written about a dozen - even re-written a couple several times under guidance from the BBC at Whiteladies Road - with no monetary success.
Interested in your attemps to set up a web site to attract clients for dog portraiture. I'm a painter too and wouldn't mind a few commisions for conventional portraits - or anything else for that matter. Let me have the co-ordinates if you will B o T so that I can pinch all your ideas!
I'll take up your suggestion to look at the work of your friend soon, but at the moment I have half my family staying and am kept pretty busy catering and organising sightseeing trips etc.
