Alternative Theories to Evolution.
Posted Jun 13, 2004
There are three alternative theories, making four in all with Darwin’s, First there is the Genesis version, then the idea that each individual life form has its own origins and then there is the idea that one species can change into a totally different species and start a new breed.
The argument is not against the fact that a species changes because everything changes, grows old and decays but against the idea that all species have evolved from an initial individual life form.
The Periodic Table lists well over a hundred different elements all of which can decay into a lesser element, lesser in the sense that it has fewer electrons, which determine the type of element it is but it cannot evolve into a higher element. Nowhere can we find a species of any kind that is evolving into another totally different type of species, changing yes, but not evolving.
The fact that we can manipulate the elements and turn them into some other form of substance does not constitute proof that evolution is responsible for our world no more than the fact that we are now able to manipulate a species genetic blueprint does.
As far as I am concerned everything has basically always been and everything has always been subjected to change. Everything changes because everything is changing, the Principle of Cause and Effect has always been operative. The truth is that there never was a first cause or a beginning of any kind, everything has always been.

THE ORIGINS OF LIFE

THE ORIGINS OF LIFE.
Prof. Harry Kroto was the compère for the above programme on channel 5 Tuesday evening of the 06/01/04 and I believe also that he was instrumental in compiling the material for what was an outstanding programme. I unfortunately do not see things the way he does, that’s not surprising because the various branches of science invariably see life from their own point of view. Harry Kroto was looking at it from his own point of view as a chemist, i.e. that life began in some sort of primeval chemical soup, however, for me the programme raised more questions than it answered. Whilst I respect Harry Kroto’s point of view, because I consider every man has the right to his own point of view, please consider mine. In the last analysis is not the Universe our Ultimate Life Support System and does it not provide totally for everything. This universal energy is the stuff of life, what one could call The Cosmic Life-giving Energy. Nothing, as far as I can see can exist or live without this all powerful energy, so when Harry Kroto explains an experiment in which he says the building blocks of life are created and infers that they are the beginning life, that is not true.
What the experiment showed was nothing more than one kind of life-giving energy being converted into another by a form of transducer. Incidentally, transducers are everywhere doing the very same thing and the fact that building blocks are produced, in no way means that life has been, no more than making bricks means that one has built a house. Whilst everything contributes to the stuff of life, water may be considered the most essential but without heat it is not water but ice. This only goes to indicate that nothing is more important than anything else where life is concerned. In the experiment, heat was used to interact with the water making it boil or more lively, which again produced steam, hydrogen and oxygen, all of which are the stuff of life. Then all this was subjected to a high voltage electric spark that was supposed to simulate lightning but surely lightning in the normal way is far more intense and produces electromagnetic radiation and the rapid expansion of the air.. I maintain that if the Universe is necessary in order to sustain life here and now nothing less than the Total laboratory of the Universe is adequate enough for maintaining and producing life. I would suspect that before anyone can lay claim to having produced life they would have to be able to explain what Consciousness and Intelligence are and how they would introduce these elements into their life formula.
What happens when we die? Has it anything to do with our DNA or RNA or amino acids or the carbon content in our body or any other chemicals for that matter? It could be argued that that was the case but in the final analysis would it not be because the Life Force was no longer sustaining the body, the Life Support System, for whatever reason had been segregated. It is my contention that every living thing is a manifestation of Cosmic Life-giving Energy and I also maintain that the survival of the species depends on the universal principle of replication, which not only applies the body but also to its DNA and RNA without which a species could never survive or exist. Two of the main constituents of life are Consciousness and Intelligence and I deduce that they must be an intrinsic aspect of the Energy and Life Activity of the Universe. I also deduce that this Life Support System of ours must be fully functional in every respect in order for a life form to exist and expresses its own unique existence and level of consciousness.
Consciousness and intelligent reasoning are essential in order for Life forms to respect and appreciate themselves and their environment. This marvellous principle of replication is beyond my comprehension so I can only conclude that it could not be possible unless there is intelligence intrinsic of the total universal life-maintaining energy system. I reason therefore that it is the fact that we are conscious and are able to exercise intelligence that the Universe is able to expresses itself. The fact that Life is dependant and based on a replicating principle means that it could never have had a beginning.
