So, I tend to keep the curtains closed in the room where the PC is.. 
Hubby sent me a text "Might be late home, because of fire"
"What fire?" I text back.. *worried for hubby's safety*
The phone rings.. "Open the 
ing curtains" says hubby.. 
The tyre depot on the industrial site is on fire and there is a GREAT BIG plume of smoke at the back of our house.. 
So the M53 is closed.. there will be congestion on the other major and local roads.. hence the text from hubby...
..not that he was worried about lil ol' me being half a mile from said toxic fumes..

It certainly does love.. the police going up and down the road at the back.. using their tannoy.. So I opened the window to hear what was being said

Maybe the cloud of smoke will mean you don't have to use your curtains to stop the light. It could be a money saver!
