Overdue Library Books

My library books are overdue! Someone needs to invent a thingy that starts beeping in the book and annoys the hell out of you the very second the book becomes overdue. Like one of those smoke alarms that bleeps annoyingly when the battery runs low, which is a bit perverse as it means the battery is used up even quicker when making the beep.
