I lost all my email addys when I lost my hard drive.

I found it hard for two reasons:

Not knowing how much was coming it so I couldn't organise my time. For instance I'd have a couple of hours (or however much was needed for that amount of work) so I'd do everything that was there, then another 3 would come rolling in and I'd run out of time.

If I was out all weekend I'd have to much to catch up with at home that the deadline was missed before I'd even logged in.

I suppose that I'd be able to manage if the deadlines weren't the same week as publication. Contributers would still have two weeks to write stuff, but I'd have a week to edit it and I'd know how much was there.

However I realise you can't change things to suit me when everyone else seems to manage and you already have some other applicants so it's not really an issue anyway.

If you want some 'holiday cover' or have a particularly big issue I can help out if needed.

Yeah, I understand totally. If there was a less-pressured way of doing it, I think we would be. There isn't a way of doing that without losing some of the immediacy though, particularly with time-specific columns.

In fact, it actually makes it more fun once you're used to it

Once I've done my part, I can hardly wait for Thursday to come.

I wouldn't want to wait for a whole week more.

Just so you all know I wont be applying as I'm soooo rubbish at everything including grammar. If there's a vote then mine is for loftskywalker.
