Hello, all,
I've been writing up the story of my trip to Canada at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A631711 and I wondered if you'd be interested in putting it in the Post. It's not finished yet, but it will be pretty soon. Also, it's quite long and has taken me a while to write (I travelled on the third of September). What do you reckon?

With some nagging from me...(Hi Baggy!)

No doubt we'd love to feature it, but alas shazz has gone offline for a while through illness, so it'll have to be put on hold for the mo.

Oh dear, I didn't know about that. Get well soon, Shazz.

Thank you Bagpuss... I am feeling a little better now
This looks great! I would be delighted to run it in The Post!
Do you have any pictures to accompany it btw? No promises, but I may be able to include any relevant ones into the Post article!

Hello, Shazz. I'm glad you're well as well. Also glad you like the article, but I'm afraid I have no photos at all from the journey, so if you want some more pictures you're just going to have to stick in a few random ones of aeroplanes and whatnot.
I was wondering about writing one or two more things about actually being in Canada, though not necessarily blow-by-blow accounts of my time like here. I don't know what you (or anyone else) think.

Follow-up items sound good to me Bagpuss.
I have an article from Pseudymus also about his holiday in Canada so that will have a fair few pictures if I know him.
There doesn't appear to be a Canadian Researchers Club btw... I think that there must be a good few Canadians scattered about h2g2! It may be worth asking around don't you think?

OK, so I guess I'll leave you alone about this one, Baggy
You know, you can withdraw the permission to nag anytime...

Bagpuss Posted Oct 1, 2001
There's certainly a few Canadians around, surprising they haven't planned anything much yet.
Amy, you're going to have to remind me where I gave you permission to nag, so I can check whether it applied to more than one article or not.

Um, it probably didn't, though I don't think anything was specified...(One *could* argue that preparing to nag you about pictures for the travelogue still relates to that article...) But anyway, I *think* what was said was something like this:
A--You're probably tired of me nagging you...
*couple of posts*
B--You know you're more entertaining when you're nagging than when you're just reading...
It's somewhere in the latter half of 'Attentive Audience'...
I'll hold off on the nagging until you let me know if I can continue...

I see. Well I'm sure any court would hold that up as akin to a contract permitting you to nag me...
I think if you wait until there's something to nag me about and don't pre-emptively nag me about pictures I don't have. How's that sound?
You know, I've just figured out why it always seems to be you I'm online at the same time as now; it's because all those back in Europe should be tucked up in bed by now.

Just because it's after 2 am on a Tuesday (Wimpy) in the UK? Naw, that can't be it Though 2legs and Ottox are still on...And it's after 3 in Denmark...
Don't pre-emptively nag, huh? Sounds fair...

Hi Amy
I have it... although there are rather a lot of footnotes!
Adds to the charm I guess.
I'll try and find time to read through it properly tomorrow, although we are all buzzing like bees trying to get ready for the Dutch Meet at the moment!

Well, some of the footnotes will come off once I know that the person(s) they are addressed to has/have read them... (OK, so maybe just the one referring to Ottox's reaction to my getting to bed at 5.30...)

Oh, and I spoke with Baggy on the phone (nice voice!) last week, and I believe he said he was working on it...? I'm not sure though...
