useually, its only the gif/jpg at the bottom of your first page that wont open

First page? Do you mean after you've clicked the 'chat now' link on my h2g2 page?
It takes a while for the applet to load, but it will do eventually! Also, you need to keep all the new windows open (think there's usually 3 in total) for it to run.
Hope that does the trick.
I'm here now, if I can be of assistance.
