I want to go to alton Towers. But I got a bit lost following your very simple links. I don't know why. Where am I supposed to vote? And when is it likely to be? And is it a thing I can bring my small child to, or will it be a y night out?

Ah yes... sorry... those links have been there a long time, and I suspect the aforementioned thread is currently 'hidden'.

Hopefully it will be a weekend camping (very nice and convenient campsite close to AT) some time in September/October. Details are still to be finalised. Doubtless there will be consumed, but as I am not sure of the local pub situation yet, it may be of the 'cash & carry' variety. Don't see any reason why small people should not come too though.

Perhaps I should put a page together for it. I believe you're going to the Dutch meet, which is the end of October, if I remember rightly? At the moment, the most likely time for AT would appear to be one of the last two weekends in September, or one of the first two in October.

I'll see what's happening, and if you want to mail me for more details, my addy is on my space.

Those details are fine with me for now, I mainly wanted to know when, really. It's a good idea, and I don't like going on the really scary rides anyway. I'm hoping to convince AGB to come and bring her son too, so I won't feel the odd one out. I have to try to convince my mother to lend me her camper for the trip though, and I'm worried she will want to come too.

Bringing a kid is one thing, but bringing a parent...!?!

Perhaps you can persuade her there won't be room.
