Hi Pegasus,

Sorry about this mass-posting, but I've just taken over the reins of h2g2 University from Peta, and thought it might be an idea to visit the current projects and get a feel for how they're coming along. This is mostly to familiarise myself with the scope of the task I've taken on, but also to make Mark think I'm being industrious. smiley - winkeye

And I definitely don't mean to be putting on any pressure to finish, or anything like that - we like to get projects when they're ready, not if they're rushed. It's really just to help me get the general h2g2 University picture. Honest. smiley - smiley

So, how's your project 'Women's health' coming along?

Hi Chris. *you lucky thing* smiley - winkeye

The uni project is top of my agenda now that other RL demands are slowing down, and I'm taking a short respite from Subbing to give it my full attention.smiley - smiley

The only downside, as such, is that I had hoped I'd have a few more researchers interested in helping out. sea is currently writing an entry for the project, Mina has written one, Mikey has offered to Sub, and... erm... AGB's entry got accepted through Peer Review. Actually, put like that, it sounds like I'm doing alright! I'm working on a couple of articles myself at present.

Seeing as you're here... I'm wondering about dividing this project into two parts... the first of which I could finish fairly soon, to give The Towers something to work with. I'd then finish off the rest of the entries in my own time, to be added at a later date. How would that be?

There's other things I want to do (such as writing up more of my own unrelated entries, Subbing, a new uni project, and possibly helping out elsewhere), and I don't want to get bogged down in this permanently. There's a lot of topics I want to cover which need some careful research and/or thoughtful writing, and I want to do them all justice. I probably started the project at the wrong time, what with all my other commitments.

Anyway, I hope I've managed to make that clear (aren't you glad you asked now!?!)smiley - winkeye Basically, I'm proposing to hand in a 'complete' project, so it can go into the Guide, but at this point I will not have included all my prospective entries... which I will gradually work on, and offer up later. Hope that's clear.smiley - huh

Thanks Chris.smiley - smiley

Hi Pegasus,

Thanks for your feedback - sounds like you have quite a lot on your plate there. More than me, in fact! smiley - biggrin

I'm happy to accept your project as a 'first instalment' kind of thing if you are satisfied that it can stand alone - i.e. separate from the other pages you have planned for it. It's a vast topic, and so I think it's probably quite a good idea to do it this way. You can always add subsequent pages to the project as and when you have time.

So, if it's in the state you want it, just let us know a date, and we'll take a snapshot, make a subbing pass over it, then put it up. smiley - smiley

smiley - cheers
