I've found myself a new house. It's yet to be built but I've seen the plans and it looks great. It has almost a cottagey feel to it with stone around the exterior of the windows and rendered walls. The back garden faces NW so it gets the sun in the afternoon which is important for BBQs etc. It's positioned on a cul-de-sac as well which means there's no through traffic. Lovely and quiet on a lazy summer's afternoon. It will be finished next year so there's plenty of time to save up and as I've reserved the plot I have the luxury of being able to look around for a whole year to try to find a better place.
