Welcome to H2G2!

Thanks for becoming a Researcher for H2G2: you can now add to the huge collection of entries written by researchers on the subject of Life, The Universe and Everything. The best entries go through to the Edited Guide, which you can <./>browse</.> through, with a cup of .

You already know you can <./>contribute</.> your own entries by clicking Add Entry... but what happens then?

Well, first it is sent to be reviewed by all the other researchers (that's everyone) in the PeerReview forum. Peer Review is for entries that meet the Writing-Guidelines, while the Writing-Alternative is for entries that don't. Look through both: in them are entries which are being worked on, and your comments really count!

If is survives that, it will be picked for inclusion to the edited guide (or sometimes the underguide) and will be spashed up on the Front Page for a day.

You can now also comment on entries written by other people, and don't forget to include some <./>Smilies</.> for good measure.

Catch the 63B to the <./>DontPanic-Tour</.> for a better guide to what to do in H2G2, and stop off at the <./>Welcome</.> page.

You may be interested to know you can change your nickname, and the way you view H2G2 by clicking on the Preferences button.

If you need help with H2G2 click on <./>DontPanic</.> (or the "h2g2 help" button), and, as if by magic, your question will be answered.

If you get stuck by something in the real world, look at <./>AskH2G2</.> or <./>HowDoI</.>. This is also the place to chat over some .
