Mr. X ---> "Be excellent to each other. And party on, dudes!"

Hey, ran into your name through a Friend's Conversations and it seemed really familiar, I was wondering if you recognized mine. Mr. X is who I am, and I'm happy to see ya.

Oh, right you are. I have noticed that before... I don't really have enough time to join things on hootoo - I prefer to just dive in, relax, and occasionally try to write an entry and then give up out of sheer laziness. smiley - silly

That's always good too. But I had to make an exception this time. *whispers* And, confidentially, nothing actually happens there anyway.

I cope rather well with places where nothing much happens. That probably explains why I can put up with living somewhere as dull as Canberra, when all the excitement of Sydney is only just down the road. Oh. OK. 3 hours down the road, but in the great scheme of things that's nothing...

Granted. I'm in Provo, Utah. (U.S.A., in case you didn't know.)

I had you picked as being somewhere in North America - there's the times you're online, and your non-British spelling, as clues. I hadn't researched, though.

Utah has a reputation for being very neat and orderly and conservative - is that a fair assessment?

It is difficult for me to say. Simply because I have little enough ability to compare it to somewhere else, having not traveled much. From what I have heard though, I would say it is. No doubt the Mormons play a large part in that.

Fair enough... I'm lucky enough to spend a fair bit of time roaming around the country, for w*rk as well as fun, but I haven't been out of the country since 1988 and I think I'm overdue for a quick escape. At least I've been able to see that Canberra's not as completely drab as it's thought to be. Also, I've been able to see that my home town - Adelaide - is a lot more interesting than it can seem to outsiders. It's all about knowing where to go and what to look for.

Probably true. But I'm not exactly overtly amazing on World Geography, so I have to ask: What country are you talking about?
