There's a journal entry about Part One of my Saturday. Part Two involved being at the pub with others and trying to get my composure back. This may or may not have worked.

Tomorrow I plan to go nowhere and see nobody. I have books and DVDs and ample food.

Part One didn't sound like much fun. Sounds like you and I have similar luck, most of the time. I hope that, at this point, the trip to the pub has helped.

We're going to venture out of the house this evening for a movie. That means I won't be particularly inclined to venture out myself for the rest of the weekend. Probably not on Monday, either.

And who needs to leave the house when you have lots of books and DVDs and there are Thai and Indian take-outs (do yours deliver like ours do?)?

Hope tomorrow's less adventuresome.

Herman did actually manage to subdue the catnip mouse- which, incidentally, is as big as he is.

The trip to the pub helped immensely. There's also beer in the fridge, which might help later today if the mood strikes.

Today will be adventure-free. The process of doing nothing has already started. There's a DVD playing, and lunch is ready to cook whenever I start to get hungry. I might even switch my phone off...

And yes, some restaurants here deliver, but not all of them. I wish the Ethiopian place did deliveries, but even I they did they're at the other end of town. Things could have been arranged better.
