h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Do you have some way of communicating with Christiane? Just haven´t heard much her lately and wondered if she was ok.

I emailed her the other day and got no reply. Maybe she has computer trouble. I would ring her but to be totally honest I have problems at home which are a huge worry. If I rang her I am too far away to do anything. Or maybe she has gone to see her son? I will see how things go. If I do get a chance to contact her and have any news I will let you know. to sound selfish

No problem, I´m afaid I don´t have a concept of how close anybody is to anyone else over there, you seem to be such a warm sensitive person, I just thought to ask you. I ´ll pray that your troubles resolve themselves, you are not selfish at all.

Elekra My other half is a little better (for the moment) so I sneaked away and phoned Christiane. Unfortunately I got her answering service. I have left a message for her to call me, email or post on here if she is able. I will let you know if I hear anything.

To all who are concerned about Christiane's prolonged absence:

She rang me about twenty minutes ago, in response to my telephone message. She has been offline as her computer went kaput. It is now fixed but she has to get herself back on h2g2 and will respond to you all as soon as she is able.

She is cheerful in spite of all her health problems, including two non-existent hip joints which I believe she has mentioned before. K is well, settled and happy which is a huge weight off her mind.

She thanks everyone for their concern and will be back as soon as she is able.

Thanks so much for this kind deed. I hope your spouse´s condition improves as well. I know how he feels with regards to doctors, but sometimes you just got to go and take one for the team so to speak.

You are right elekragheorgheni. I think I will survive, he was not best pleased, but the worry was affecting my sleep and health.

Bel, I hope other people will get the news about Christiane. She has managed to email me, so she is getting there. I think we must give her a big welcome when she comes back She is one brave lady
