Would you fancy collaborating on an Entry for the EG on feeding garden birds? There is some useful information at A634655 and A618987, but I reckon we need an entry with some good advice on types of food and feeder, how different birds feed in different ways, what plants you could grow to help...

And I also reckon we'd be just the people to do it

If you're interested, I could do most of the work in terms of writing up, doing the ML etc, leaving you free to have an expert eye and make suggestions and basically write as much or little as you wanted to!

My article for this week was along those lines, though I didn't go into plants etc.

To be honest, much as I would love to, I am really very pushed for time at the moment, and already getting in to trouble for doing too much and neglecting my 'duties' - household you understand!!

If you are prepared to write much of it, I could probably suggest stuff to add or you could lift from this week's article.

Perhaps early in the new year would be possible when I have no events to prepare for and I am on top of a lot of things I should have done already (I hope).

It would be in time for the Spring then and would give me time to check facts, and gather together info. as contrary to your kind comment - I am no expert!

I will look at the two links later and you can let me know what you think.

Yes, I'd been thinking about asking you for a while - sort of in the back of my mind, I'd really like to do more 'collaboration' type Entries with people with similar interests - but it was the column today that got me thinking about it seriously.

I won't ask what the 'household duties' are

There's no mad rush at all, anyway. I'm quite busy myself with various things, so it's not something I'd suddenly demand loads of committment from you with - I doubt it would be ready much before Christmas, anyway. I'll have a think about it and perhaps start writing a few bits now and then, and if you want to contribute at any stage you can let me know. I'll just let you know how it's going here.
