Hi Websailor!

I'm helping out smiley - thepost with the regular features and was wondering if you'd be interested?

You know I've been following 'My Heart Is Thumping' as a lurker for ages, and you're very inspiring about your experiences. Add to that your birdwatching and WWF involvement, and I reckon you'd be a great reporter smiley - smiley

No pressure now, but it would be great if you would fancy putting together a few thoughts once a fortnight for us to include in the Post. You could distill your brock experiences into a page, or highlight any campaigns you think people should know about, or let us know the simple pleasures of birdwatching and things like how to feed garden birds over the winter, or anything you like. I'd love the Post to have a regular nature correspondant as it's a passion of my own, and you would fit the bill perfectly.

What do you think? There's plenty of smiley - redwine and smiley - cake on offer if you're interested smiley - smiley

Rich, I am so glad to see you back on form, and very flattered at your request.smiley - blush

I almost missed the thread as I feel a bit like a hamster in a wheel at the moment, or White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. smiley - smiley

Part of me would love to do it, but I am a bit nervous of the commitment, and how I go about it? I am already in hot water with my other half for spending so much time on the computer. The only reason I am on now is 'cus the smiley - football is onsmiley - grr

I really must take more time to look at The Post and see if I am up to it. I wouldn't want to let anyone down.

I was actually looking at my 'My Heart Is Still Thumping' and hoping that none of the literary bods or pedants on here were looking at the English, as the tenses, grammar and language etc. are all over the place. I can write correctly but in this case it would have formalised it, and made it stiff and starchy, instead of just a bit of fun!

If you really think I could do it I will give it a go. Do the items have to stick to a strict timetable, because I might find that a bit of a problem. Spontaneous is best for me, for a lot of reasons.

I'll give the smiley - redwine and smiley - choc a miss thanks all the samesmiley - rofl
