Hi Web Sailor
I've posted this on your PS 'cos I don't want to spoil the badger thread (its too precious)
Just wanted to tell you about my remaining puss - I rescued two kittens many moons ago (Moppet and Mittens - Beatrix Potter) (their mum died giving birth to the little twins.) I lost Mittens about 3 weeks ago. He had a tumour and at 14 years old was too aged for surgery. He just went peacefully to sleep bless him.. His brother Moppet has been pining and had not eaten anything for three days - the vet suggested that I try to tempt him with something tasty, as he was concerned about any kind of treatment at this age.
So! (happily, I think I'm being conned here!!) Thursday: was persuaded to indulge in a small amount of Lemon Sole - copied this another two times during the day. Friday: Indulged himself with some Monkfish Tails; followed later in the evening with a little steamed chicken breast. Today; Saturday, the little man started the day with the remains of the chicken; and has decided that the evening offering of fresh steamed salmon steak is more than acceptable!!
He is now recumbent on my bed; looking as though the world is his oyster.
Just wanted to share this with someone, who I felt would appreciate the situation.
