h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi there!

In the time I've been on h2g2, a lot of new people have signed up and joined the volunteer schemes.

There was a time when I knew everyone by name, but that's impossible as this grand experiment continues to thrive.

So I've decided to pay a visit to each Researcher in the various volunteer schemes and say 'hello'.

Hello! So what's new and exciting? I'm still reeling from last week's election...

Work at the mo' is hectic hectic, which is why I havn't been round for a whiley But there is light at the end of the tunnel, and hopefully next week or the week after I will return I can well imagine the whole of the US is reeling over the election - but from an furriners point of view, I hope Al does what he can to get into office, a world with W Bush as its most powerful man is a world too frightening to contemplate. Of course this may not be the best thing for the US public, but I think it would be the best thing for the rest of the world (well so I think - but what do I know?)
