Cool I will go and check I know what I know and return Unfortunatley you can no longer upload your own pictures, but must use the ones already onsite and I think it is the same for music However for the rest it is all a matter of GuideML Easy to use, quick to put together Do you know any HTML? Doesnae matter if ye don't, GuideML is easier AS I said I will return here with bits'n'bobs and nuggets of good creamy information Until later (not too much later, maybe an hour, if work gets in the way )....

OK, you didnae mention any HTML experience, so I am gonna assume none Apologies if I am going over stuff you know

When editing a page the first thing to do is to change the style from plain text to GuideML, on the edit page there should be a radio button (choose either plain text or GuideML) choose GuideML and click 'Change Styles'. You should no be ready to prettify your page

All GuideML is hidden in <> brackets, most commands come in pairs, an opening one and a closing one. So hear are some of the more common commands...

xxxxxxxxx puts the text (xxxxxxxxxxxx in this case) between them into a Header

xxxxxxxxx does the same but into a subheader format

and surround each paragraph that you want and place the spaces between them.

This Page this will link the text 'This Page' to the h2g2 page Axxxxxxxxx (where xxxxxxxx is the page number)

Such and such's page Links the text 'Such and Such's page' to Uxxxxxxxxx (which ideally should be Such and such's page )

The text between is turned italic

The text between is turned bold

The text between is turned the colour xxxxx - see page A529715 for what colour is what code

Is this enough to be going on with? I will say yes for now Oh, one thing these commands can be nested, but cannot overlap. So...

XXXXXXX would make the text italic and bold, but....
