Do pop over to the Scottish Slang page - there's an interesting conversation that you ought to check out http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F18317?thread=146507&post=1417585#p1417585

Cheers for the heads up Though work is hectic at the mo' (70+ hours a week ) so I didnae get a chance to participate, though my thinking is that most of the words are slang (as the vast, vast majority of Scotland speaks English), but there are dialects there - Doric, Broad Scots etc. However, that is not why I am here, I have just finished your Weather Wisdom Entry, want take a shuftey and let me know what else should be done to it. Find it at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A641305 Until later......

Did you add the bit about the seaweed? (it was really good!)
There was just a small typo in the seaweed footnote - 'Researcher's mother' - you were missing the apostrophe.
And why am I listed as a Referenced Researcher and as a Researcher? I don't need to be in twice.
Otherwise, great job slogging through all this! I know I'd hate to get stuck with this one.

Yeah, the seaweed bit was mine, ancient West Coast Scotland weather lore (well, my mum told me ). I listed you as a referenced researcher too as you were the driving force behind it, the original Reseacher, it was your Entry and you deserve to be highlighted I didn't mind this Entry, there was virtually nothing to do to it Which at the mo' is good thing Well, I will go and sort that footnote Until later....
