Is anyone planning to do a bit of meteor watching this weekend?
This will be the second year we've attempted to have a worldwide meteor watch here on h2g2 - the first year was a bust with most of the northern hemisphere socked in behind clouds.

I think we're in store for some clear skies this time, only the last-quarter moon will be shining after midnight so really dim meteors will be lost in the moonshine (the light, not the booze! ).
If you're interested, I'll try to add you to the project pages in the very near future!

Sorry to miss this JimiX But I was away from work early last week Even then, East Coast had pishin rain So how did it go at yours? Until later...

We were rained out through Monday!
Granted after a two-week heat wave of 100+ temperatures we needed the rain, but still...
