Blimey, I miss a couple of days and look what happens!

Good to see you back! Do try to stay for a while...

Andy and I are going to go and see H2G2 on our anniversary. Is that romantic or what?

The kids are growing up - my little one started kindergarten this year and the eldest is 10 going on 30. She's pretty sure she needs a phone in her room, and a tv and a computer.


I'm still in the same dead-end job, doing the same dead-end work for the same dead-end pay. But I've learned to live with all that.

I still write the odd entry or two for h2g2, but they seem to only come in spurts of motivation followed by long, dark periods of total lethargy.

The lovely Mrs X and I are going to miss the opening night for the film as we are going to Atlantic City to see Sting in some casino. She adores him and keeping her happy is job one!

My online surfing has really waned the past few years. I dunno why. I hardly ever visit the floor or anyone's blogs or just surf the way I used to. Weird eh?

Enjoy the film, and don't tell me how it ends!

I'm glad life continues apace for you. I've found that nothing makes life go faster than kids. Charlie is over seven months old and while on the one hand I feel like he's always been here, on the other I can imagine that I'll blink and he'll be off to college. He grows so incredibly fast.

Good for you for keeping the wife happy. We're taking Charlie to the zoo on our anniversary during the day. We may show him the dolphin show.

I'm very jealous that you're going to see Sting. Let me know how the show is!

BOO about the dead-end job. I'm going back to school and I'm totally overwhelmed trying to juggle everything. It's going to be a good two years before I can apply for the Masters program. Then it's another two years before I get my masters. I'm trying to remind myself that I'll be 34 and that's plenty young, but I'm hyperventallating.

Turning 30 is weirding me more than I thought it would.

I hear there's a robot in the movie. I hope I didn't give anything away, there.

And I meant to put in a lot more questions about your job, as in what makes it dead end and have you considered doing anything else, in a polite sort of "I'm interested in you" kind of way, because I am.

But apparently I only want to write about MEMEME!

I keep telling myself that this job in public relations is only temporary, but I've been here six years now...

I could be worse, but I find myself missing newspapers more and more. Especially when I read some of the junk that is being published in our local papers here in southcentral Pennsylvania!

My lovely bride is about to resume college for a teaching degree after realizing that interior design probably wasn't such a good career choice. So until she gets on track I'm hanging here.

Going to the Lincoln Zoo then? I lived in Chicago for a year or so when I was in kindergarten (Des Plaines actually) and I loved the city. Great place to grow up and get all cultured and stuff...
