Hi there. Jodan the Ace when he welcomed me, saw that I'd mentioned PA, so he referenced you, but I never got in touch. I wrote for somewhere else --a history of Chambersburg. Should I post it here?

It would be great to have some information about Franklin County! That's a part of the midstate that I rarely get to unless I'm heading south on I-81.
I know that there's a baseball field there with a metal cuttout of Babe Ruth on the outfield supposedly to mark the place where he hit a homer during a barnstorming exhibition game. And I know a bit about the Confederate invasions during the Civil War, but aside from those two tidbits, I don't know a whole lot about it.
What did you write your history of Chambersburg for? If it was another publication, you might want to ensure that you have copyright permission to republish it here on h2g2. Or you could simply rewrite the thing with further research and make it a wholly new piece.

The site I wrote for gives copyright to the authors. They are down right now, kind of like what I sensed happend to yours when they did the change from a Perl engine to C++. I was trying to avoid throwing around the name of the other 'writing' forum for fear of not being a good sport or something.
I wrote the piece based on historical information. It is an interesting, but not well known US Civil War story.
