I did a quick write-up on the Yough in the southwestern corner of my state.
Odd that I've got an entry in Peer Review about whitewater boating on that river at the same time.
What do you like about the Thames? Perhaps you'd like to jot down a few notes over at that entry?

I don't know anything at all about the Thames except it exists sorry I'm not any use for that article

No worries...
I love these collaborative entries because anyone and everyone is invited to leave a few snippets of useful information and one of the italics combines it all into a nice entry for the Front Page on Friday.
There have been some really brilliant topics in the past - though the rivers one isn't all that inspiring eh? 
Maybe next week they'll have something better.
It's really a great way to contribute to the Edited Guide and I think it is probably the nearest thing to what Douglas Adams had in mind when he created the site.

I do like the collaborative articles don't get me wrong but I really don't know anything about the River Thames except it exists and its a river with water running through it. I have actually started working on an article of the great barrier reef however, due to study etc it has had to be put on hold. You can see the unfinished version on this site 
I did like the breakfast article it made me want to go on holiday though and that I cannot do at the moment

If you want you can take it and improve on it I'm not sure I have the time to finish it and I'm more a beginner than a finisher when it comes to work.
