duplicate guide entries?

I have a question for Jimi X:

There is an edited guide entry on the film _The Matrix_, with you listed as editor. I read the article a couple of days ago, and I think there are a lot of things to add. That film is one of my very favorites of all time, and I myself have lots to say about it.

Basically, what I'm saying is I'd like to write an article about The Matrix too, but I don't know what the protocol is. Presumably I can write the entry, but does the fact that there's already an edited guide entry mean that I can never have my entry entered into the edited guide?

Not to complain about the original entry, but I think there's a lot to be added. There are a lot contemporary culture issues that are addressed in that film, as well as older archetypal references. Also, there are many issues that would be interesting to bring to light.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Respectfully yours,

Craig Steffen

Hi Craig! smiley - smiley

Two ways to go about this:

- the first is to simply add your comments to the forum of the entry and submit it to the update center at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A496451

- the second way is to write a new entry incorporating the information from the existing Edited Entry (with proper credit to the previous author) with your new stuff and submit that to the update center.

Hope this helps!

smiley - cheers
