I was especially fond of the electrocution one!!

Have been up all night, actually. Had a boring article to write for work, so used subbing the Birth of a Nation entries as a good procrastination. Finished those a couple hours ago, then played a few video games, and am now finally getting the d**n article written. I *swear*, this is the *last* time anyone is going to talk me into writing an article about infant colic....
The really frightening thing is the number of diet cokes I've drank over the course of the night --- a whole case has somehow disappeared.....

One of my best newspaper stories was completed over the course of two sleepless nights because my editor was having a panic attack and wanted the thing done 'early' - perhaps for the first and only time in the history of the paper.
Still, it's nice to have a crutch like h2 to fall back on when you start feeling burnt. Play here for a while and I've found the batteries get recharged rather quickly.

Yup. When I get really sick of writing about squalling babies with colic, I go work on my "Test your Psychic Powers" entry or my "Seattle Times vs. the Seattle Post Intelligencer" entry. The hard thing is making myself go back to the colic.....
