Actually I was an Eagle Scout.
But all the badges are simply a symptom of my spending nearly all of my online here at h2g2. I love the whole idea of the Guide!
People all over the world, writing away and describing the things that they know best about. Then h2g2 taking that 'unconventional knowledge' and sharing it with the entire planet.
I can't think of a more awesome notion.
When I had my first submission accepted into the edited guide (a bit about driving in Pittsburgh), it simply floored me. The fact that somebody in New Zealand could read that and know about the local driving customs in Pittsburgh simply because I shared that little tidbit with them - simply amazing!
While I've been here for nearly two years now I've written a lot and volunteered a lot. I really want to see this site develop into what Douglas envisioned when he created it.
Plus, it's pretty cool to be in on the gound floor of the whole enterprise.

I love idea of the Guide and the internet.
Internet educates people about anything.
Internet will bring peace some day.
The world is becomming smaller each day.
