For Jimi-- one of the smartest and most quality people I know.
Thanks for bringing your humour and insight with you every time you post. I'm very lucky to have you as a friend.

Thanks for the kind words 'Manda. I especially liked your journal entry.
I'm going through the same thing - telling myself he's not *really* gone and then berating myself for thinking such stupid things.
It just doesn't seem possible. How can a man who has touched so many lives be gone?

I know. It just doesn't make any sense. It took a straight day for it to sink in, and I haven't stopped crying sense.
And then you kick yourself for feeling even slightly selfish about missing him, knowing what everyone close to him must be feeling. Then you see how many lives he's touched-- on this site, [URL removed by moderator], the floor... my greatest wish is that he knew what an impact he made on all of our lives.
But even if he did, he'd probably deny it, the modest dickens.
The greatest gift he gave me was finding people like you as friends and co-conspirators. And it's a great comfort right now.

Still having trouble sleeping? You posted that rather early in the morning, even for St. Louis.
Take care of yourself kiddo.

Well, I've always had a touch of the insomnia, it only takes something to set it off. But thanks.
*shakes fist at moderator* Stop it. That wasn't nice.

Heh. Ironically enough, that was a reference to Douglas Adams Dot Com (I can be sneaky too ). He'd probably laugh and laugh if he knew they were cutting out references to his personal website here.
Key: Complain about this post
