Great idea, Jimi X!
I have come across quite a few guide entries, particularly those with long and in-depth fora beneath them, that could do with an update - but this is not why I write.
What I suggest is the creation of a new volunteer scheme, one that combines the talents of Scout and Subeditor. The Updater, Refresher, or something like that, with you as its role model...
What do you think about its viability?

I talked with Anna about this very topic and she said at the time there weren't enough full-time staff to handle running an additional scheme. I've explained this in more detail at the forum you started on the Volunteers page.
Sorry I didn't get to this message sooner, I've been without a computer for a few days...
