well mate i have been on this planet for many a year now as has my lovely mate pinky who just poped in there has , im still here alive and kicking lol might not be as fast as i use to but the moral is i did not need a hand to get this far so y should i need one now , but feel free to chat to me if you can speak troll tounge as you wonderful people put it .

well for one , people being smart ass think there high and mighty, snobs, dixk heads .

Ahh.. but how do you define the difference between those who think they are clever and those that truly are? Or is it the attitude you do not like?

mmmm your good mate .
1)the truly clever people don't go out there way to tramp all over people, where the ones who think there clever do , plus they are the ones with the attitude problem .

2)the same can be said for the snobs , a person who is truly rich by hard work and made it to the top of the ladder you will find they don,t show off , what they have in life they can afford .

where the ones that are acting snobs love the lime life think there it attitude, dress in brand names have to have the new things in life all the time, they are deep in debt through there own silly doings.

I think that the problem you will have on h2g2 is that many people argue quite hard to prove their points. Some do so from the desire to win, others to explore the question and help them develop a useful answer. Even to people who have been here a while it is often difficult to tell the genuine debaters from the b*llsh*tters.

I believe that your view of the rich is interesting, but not based in fact. You will find that there are snobs in every walk of life, from the poorest to the richest, from the deserving to the undeserving.

They say that the first step to wisdom is in admitting how little you actually know. That's where I am now, looking around in wonder at all the bright and interesting people here that I can learn from. Everyday I discover new points of view, explore new ideas and even put forward a few of my own. This is why I keep coming here

Yes there will, and that is as it should be dear Sir Shifty. Otherwise life would be one long bland experience of uniformity. Countless Communist dictators tried to reduce everyone to the lowest common denominator and only increased suffering instead of relieving it.

This does not mean that life is fair, or we should not try to make things better for those worse off than ourselves. But once you accept that life is not fair it frees you to get on with it without the constant need to whinge about it

Given the governement we currently have to put up with, and the removal of many of our ancient rights to free speech, I am glad that such international forums as these do exist, where people can still speak freely.

Subjects such as The Pope, Abortion and many others are important to the future of our society, unlike football and horse racing which only serve the needs of big business. You often talk about the rich and powerful pocketing money at our expense, yet you say you'd rather pander to their business interests than discuss central issues of morality and ethics. Well that's your choice, I will not judge you upon it

horses and football are money grabbers, yes they are just as a surgeon is ,i mean if one goes for a face lift or just a nose job they rip people off telling them they need a lot more done , when they don't so its not just sport stars etc who rip people of . 1 HOW DOES ONE KNOW WHEN THEY ARE BEING RIPPED OFF 2 HOW DOES ONE KNOW WHOS THERE FOR THEM BY THAT I MEAN REALY THERE FOR THEM AND NOT TALKING BEHIND THERE BACKS ,IF YOU CAN ANSWER THOSE 2 THINGS THEN YOU SHOUL BE A HELL OF A RICH PERSON.SS

I am a rich person in the only thing that matters - friendship. I am honoured by the quality of friends that I have, and I gained them by trying to be a person of honour, duty and love.

Materially I am no better off than the next person, more debts than income etc., but hey, who cares it's only money .

oh yes i know FRIENDS i have them there the ones who pick me up when iam down etc mmmm but would you trust them with your bank card mmmm your wife when your away with work ,just some everyday worries boils down to trust i would not trust anyone 100%.

heres a thing if your mate had 2 million and he told you to watch it for a bit , would you do a old train robber trick one way ticket to brazil mmmmmmm don't you think there would be a little bit of thought about it in your mind . we are only humans as you say lol.

More than that I would trust them with my children. Several of them are the druidic equivalent of godparents and by the sacred oaths we have taken they would die to protect my kids and I theirs.

My friends have stood by me, through thick and thin, some for decades now. They have supported me when I have been broke and cared for me and my family when I was at death's door.

The first stage of Honour (see my homepage) is Honesty, so yes I would look after my friend's £2 million and not be tempted to touch it. After all it is only money. If I took some it would soon be gone - and so would my friend. I value a true friend above anything else.

Of course to get and keep such friends you must first be one yourself.

well i loved life and used to see it well liked to see it in rose tinted glasses like the folk in some of the threads do .

but hey i got a real check on life , i once knew this honest caring man that would do everything for you or anyone else climb a mountian anything but hello he turned out a 2 faced lying toad( oops better not say troll in case there here and not in the pope rooms lol ) thats why i have this doubt in my mind about people and i no eyeryone is not the same but the doubt is there even just a little bit ....sss
