I don't know where the place I want to be is, but I know where I am - right here! Therefore the place I want to be must be lost, not me. But that's okay, the scenery is great while the travel lasts.

Doppelgangers are great! I owe my favourite one a phone call and a drinking session next time I'm in up there in Hamilton.

By way of illustration: His name is the same as mine. We were doing the same scholarship class of the same course, on the same year. We both got jobs at the university at the end of that year, about 12 feet down the hall from each other. Our managers had trouble telling us apart, because the only major difference in our appearances were that his hair was long and black, whereas mine was long and white ("When did you dye your hair, dude?" "Er. About nine months ago." "Buh?... OOoohhh. Right.") and the buttons on his trenchcoat were black, while mine were gold. He met his current girlfriend because she thought he was me - I'd known her for about four years.

It was even more fun when I was last in Hamilton with him, his girlfriend, the person I was with at the time who's name is the same as hers, and my favourite cousin who has the same name again. So went to a bar and played pool; Jeremy, Jeremy, Rachel, Rachel and Rachel. It was weird.

Anyway, the point of all that is that Doppelgangers are kewl.
