Hi Lisa,
I know that I'm not that often here, but my trusty old puter is so
slow that I'm not getting a lot of joy out of it. It takes ages to download pages and then lines are missing, images can't be found etc.
I'm afraid Java is just to complicated for my computer.
But thanks for dropping a line appreciate it very much.
I like your site.

Thanks!! Hey if you get the time to reply, what is your browser? Certain browsers allow you to switch off images. This might be the reason why you can't see some of the graphics.. Either that or it is just a generally slow browser. http://www.netscape.com you can probably download a quicker one there.

Hi Lisa,
I Took your advice and traded my navigator for a new and improved communicator. It seems to do the trick,
altough my puter is stil a bit (ahum) slow. Next step is probably a faster computer 'cause I might be a bit
spoiled by my computer at work. The Java errors seem to have stopped and I now appreciate the improved
workings of my puter.

Hoopy!!
I've got Communicator, seems to be doing nits job better than the other browsers I got - I have Navigator as well and there's so many things it can't do compared with this one.
Hoho, I wonder if they'll pay me for advertising their product!!!!!!!
Lisa

4F'er Posted Oct 13, 1999
And a hoopy to you too,
You've caught me online. I must say that communicator does seem to do heeps of good
to the workings, I'm glad that I took your vice. I think Netscape should pay you, if they dont,
I'm gonna have a real good talk to them and tell them what a great job you're doing.
As you might have guessed Englih isn't my native speech, but we do get the Beeb,
lucky me 'cause I did really really enjoy MPFC 30th anniversary on the Beep last saturday.
How about U.

It's okay... Most of my class have gone on a school trip to France, so there's only four girls (who hang out together that is) here right now... But it's half term, hoopy. I'm going to see Mort at the Playhouse! Hoopy hoopy hoopy!!!!!!
How're you?
Hey...
4F'er Posted Oct 24, 1999
Hiya Lisa,
I'm fine thanks, Hows life at half term?
I hope you enjoyed Mort, but who the hoopy frood is Mort?
Tomorrow (monday) I'm going to see Lee Scratch Perry at
the Milkyway, he is one of my musical hero's. Why didn't you go to France
sounds like a good opportunity to go there. I was in France to look at
the eclips and had a real good time there.
Hope to read you soon,

There were too many people who applied for a place on the trip and I was one of the unlucky ones when they pulled the names out of a hat. Which means I'm going to Germany next year. Which is probably for the best as I can speak better German than French.
Mort - have you read any Discworld books?
I haven't seen it yet, four days to go..
Hope you enjoyed the thing you went to.
BTW what's "grbn"?

Hi Lisa,
I hope you enjoyed Mort, I haven't read anything by Terry yet but I do think I will.
I know a lot of people who enjoy the Discworld saga so it's on my list of
books I have to read, but there are already a lot of books on it. BTW have you been to Terry's
page? If you haven't seen it yet I'll look it up for you, I've got the adres at my work so I can mail it to you later.
The thing I went to, was great, Lee Perry is one of the inventors of dub reggae and a very big favourite of mine.
The Grbn at the end of my messages is my name, I'm called Gerben, which is a Frysian
name, my grandfather was from Frysland. I always sign my e-mails with Grbn, like to
shorten things.

Right, okay, that makes more sense now.
um. I forgot what I was going to say now, my dad's talking about a clock in the background. Don't ask!!!
Terry Pratchett's page.. Hmm... I don't *think* so.. thanks...
I did enjoy mort. Best time I've had in, well, ages, I don't know about ever though. I did a journal entry on it if you wanna look at that if you really want to know. Doubt it though!! I'm only on my third Discworld book, so I'm not doing very well.. (Mort, Colour of Magic, now Light Fantastic. Mort is the best so far!)
Do you want a link in my new funky link thing? I have a new drop-down menu on my page. The people I got it from said it was copyrighted but I don't really see how you can copyright script that loadsa people use... anyway!! Where was I... oh yeah, do you want a link?

Yo Lisa,
I feel so stupid, 'cause you might have noticed that the page I
gave was not the right one. Dot com should have been
dot org, so http://www.lspace.org hope you'll forgive me.

Lisa the Freak // Poet by the Toga Posted Nov 3, 1999
I never got the time to go see it anyway so it doesn;t matter. I'll check it out when I have time, which, coincidentally, is not now, because I have to write some sort of speech for English hwk and do something else that has temporarily slipt my mind... Ah yes, convince my father to move back to British Telecom... hehehe
I'll check it out next time I come online, which could be some time I;'m afraid since mycomputer has made a habit out of not connecting.
