I'd just like to say congratulations to GMTV for ten years of consistently being the most-watched programme on ITV1 at breakfast time.

I'm not sure why irony is required though - the only show that has come close to beating us in the ratings (and that means on a daily basis over the whole of the past ten years) is Teletubbies - God knows why.... BBC1, the Big Breakfast and SH:IT (in any of their various incarnations) just haven't been close. (Typical ratings this week - BBC1 22%, RI:SE 3%, GMTV 34%)

The irony lies in the fact that there are no other programmes on ITV1 at breakfast time. Do you see? Do you see what I did there?
