I know we all love our relatives *smirk* but who on earth (or off earth, for that matter) had to go and create family reunions? all they are is a few hours of sitting around in total boredom while your grandmother, great grandmother, great aunt, and some women you don't even know talk about how much you've grown, what you're doing in school, and the colour of your hair (in my case, blue). and then they take pictures. after posing with gram and great gram and aunt this or that, one gets rather unsociable. one thing i've noticed is that there are always more women than men at reunions. and there are more old folks than young. and whatever young people there are are always bored out of their skulls. i envy my sister, who was conveniently out of the country at the time of our reunion.
