Dear triciacowell.
Hands off our Peter. (No, not that one!!) He was my hero first. I thought he was lovely, then I saw his picture...! Aaah! .
It was a toss up as to who I wanted as my toy boy, Peter or Frank, both qualify in age (1 year younger)
I would love to see our Frank come back, THEN you would have to look to your laurels, Peter.
I do love all this nonsense, great fun, eh Tricia? but I expect an intelligent answer from the two experts. Please Frank.
Cheers, hic, have a double..
Old and corny but laughter IS the best medicine.
I suppose you think I am showing off with my Smileys? Well, I am, Peter and Frank showed me how.

Now what is all this about LOL. Peter never does that to me. Is just because you are a younger woman,Trish?
If you are not careful Peter, I will have to travel North and search for Frank... I'm sure he will be my toy boy.
Come back Frank and save an old lady from despair!

Hi there Trish, younger woman, or maybe a mere girl?
Yesterday I had a thought? Now now.<> don't be cheeky to your elders.I realised who you are. You are THE triciacowell. I knew the name was familiar but had forgotten that the story which moved me so much was by you about your father. I cried and wondered at your own, and Peter's, persistence. How wonderful that it all paid off.
This WW2 site has brought so many people together, with laughter and tears.
I'm so pleased that we are having fun in new friendships. Keep it up.
Thanks for your good wishes today.
Bye for now
The old girl.

Hi Tricia,
Hope your back improves. I feel 190 today... toothache... That's after I've been to the dentist.
I'm sure you didn't upset Ron, you can tell he's a lovely man by his gentle smile.<> Sorry Peter! Yes you are lovely too.
Will talk again, Tricia.
Best wishes
Elvira
