It's been Comedy festival for the last few weeks, so I've been keeping me occupied and in relatively high spirits

how goes it there, princess ?

Yay for comedy festivals!

I've been pretty well in general; I got stressed about my last assignment, and then I got sick 'coz I was stressed, and then I wasn't able to work on my assignment, and then I got more stressed...
But it's much better now. Assignment two is heaps easier.

And pills are helping.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming holidays; I plan to actually have a weekend, and to spend some time laughing my @$$ off.

It's always a vicious cycle isn't it ?

I have an...anxious disposition...which means occassionally I will be in situations I won't like and won't be able to breathe properly...and then I'll get anxious because I can't breathe...and then it's harder to breathe...ad inifinitum.

I've benn trying to master the art of not worrying...it's just not wroking as well as I would hope. Especially now that I'm sans pills (much to the upset of me ). But there's always right !

The laughing off of one's @$$ is a very worthy pursuit...I was up til ridiculous o'clock las night laughing off my own @$$...unfortunately I can't really see any difference. Maybe I need to laugh harder...

Yep. I have 'a relationship with high levels of stress,' which means I really shouldn't have to deal with tight deadlines, but the alternative is a lifestyle where I get bored less, which makes me psychotic instead.

So yeah, balance is good.

Except when I'm too busy rofling; then balance can go jump, 'coz I prefer the rofling.

Pity we never have any comedy gigs in this city... ah well with enough social lubricant in the form of I guess we can make do.

Oh I know what you mean, the only thing worse than being under the pump is being left to mine own devices...that's when baaaaad stuff tends to happen

Oh well, I have things to do. It helps that there are usually people at my place now...keeps my mind off things and all

And yes, having a good session is always good for the soul...or whatever it is that lurks behind my lungs and stomach...it always feels a little lighter after a good bit
