I am a septugenarian who is in a wheelchair and who has made so many friends - mostly very young - on h2g2.

Do tell us about yourself - you are very brave to say that you dislike football.!!

Do you like football? The only matchs i watch are the Newcastle ones.

My goodness, where did you get that name?? Are you going to join yourslf? What do you do?
I hope that you also enjoy rugby. I quite like football. when we lived in South Africa my late husband supported Liverpool!!. My grandsons support Chelsea. I suppose that I like David Beckham lots so perhaps I am now a Madrid supporter!!

When I was very young I used to swim for South Africa and I was also chosen to train for the squad for the very first Olympic Games held after WW2. I was very sad when the South african Swimming Federation decided NOT to send a women's team to London. I have had a very interesting life but I am jolly old although I really do not feel it!!.

Now is Tegan your daughter? And how old is she? Please do write and tell me about her and then I can be her virtual grandmother!1.

You see my little one, a septugenarian means someone who is over 70. I celebrated my 75th birthday party on the 23rd May and I had a most wonderful virtual fancy dress party . I had over 240 visitors from all over the world. They all came in fancy dress. One person came as a spider's web!! I was very worried because I had someone else who came as a spider and I reckoned there might be trouble!!. I was the most beautiful mermaid - this was a virtual party you understand - and had great fun swimming everywhere with my new tail which I had ordered specially from America for the party. PS To get to anyone's home page you just click on the name of that person at the top of the posting and he presto! you are transported there. that is the way to make friends as well. If you look at "Who's one line?" and then lick on the name that sounds nice to y9ou and then you go and meet that person. that is how I came across you!!. I would love to know why you chose the name of the Pink Panther. It was a wonderful film with Peter Sellars in it.
