I just nipped over to say I've attached messages to the cicada and bacteriophage articles you're editing. I apologise for the message on the bacteriophage piece. It came out sounding a bit, umm, strong. Very sorry.

That's perfectly alright. Believe me, your comments probably registered a 0.003 on the 'jumping up and down and screaming at the subeditor' scale
I've gone back and checked, and the additional footnote (that I see that Ashley has so kindly inserted) wasn't in the article when I received it. Perhaps you added it after TPTB had already forwarded the article to me (we work from text files, not direct from the web), and so it fell down the cracks. And what a marvelous footnote it was, glad to see it in it's proper place. Makes you glad to be an entomologist
