Hi, you have been chosen at random to be researcher I visit today.
(Actually you're the second today, but the first was a lemon)
It works like this:
1. Ignore all the names that crop up regularly making daft comments in forums.
2. Get the popup "who's on now" box on your screen and pick a name at random.
3. Check out their homepage and go read some of their entries.
4. If they appear to be doing something worth doing say Hi! and encourage them.
5. Ask them to do the same thing on a regular basis.
6. If anything of theirs is related to anything of yours put in a link so that guide users are able to find the quality stuff.
So, I've already said Hi! and I should tell you that I liked the entries I read tonight. When I get time I'll probably be able to put in a few links too.
Hope you'll encourage this practise.
