Hi Trish,
Thanks for your reply - I believe we exchanged postings some time ago and you asked which part of Newcastle I was from? I'm from Gosforth now but did live in Howdon for about a year - Denbeigh Avenue - know it?

Hi Trish,
I've looked in at the tea shoppe but find there's always over 100 postings since last I visited and I don't have time to read them all to see if anyone replied to mine!
Hope you don't mind my preference for one-to-one

Fine - I'll come across for a later when I have time.
Meanwhile I hope to see you here again - funny, since I retired I never seem to understand how I found time to go to work.
Do you work? I still do odd deswign jobs when asked.

Hi Trish,
I'm a chartered Civil Engineer - mostly retired now having just formally closed my own practice, but still available to do the odd job or two.
I design roads and sewers for housing, commercial and industrial estates - the biggest one I did was the MetroCentre! Now anyone who knows me can identify me from that admission. lol
Dont worry about the soft drinks - I'm on the waggon in any case - have been for the last 6 years - having drank my share, thought it time to leave some for someone else !!!
What sort of business had you in mind - it's worth doing if you can make it - you make more money that you ever would working for someone else.
Bye for now

Hi Trish,
Sure thing love - stick to what you know and do best - there's always a market for printed T shirts - some of them are a bit outrageus but I guess they sell. Would you do them with photographs as well as rude comments?
In my drinking days I liked the one which read, " I have no drink problem. I just drink, fall over and sleep - no problem!"
Have you made any serious investigation into premises, equipment etc or is it all in the planning stage? Or have you printed some already? Very interested in you setting out on your own.
Have some and keep in ouch

Hi love,
You aren't in there at the moment and I have to go soon so I'll pop over soon.
Can't ever stay on long because my good lady is in bed wondering what I'm doing here. Can't say I'm having clandestine conversations with young ladies!!!

Greetings My Lady,
I went into the olde tea shoppe and asked fot the lovely waitress called Totty - and got a rather curt reply that Totty didn't work there !!!
I'm confused - didn't I contact you originally as Totty?
And now you are my dream lady
And who is Betsie and why are you battling with her?

Trish,
19 hours ago makes it 5am in my reckoning - no wonder you are half asleep - you on the night shift? You cannot be designing sweat shirts at that hour !!
I keep getting a welcome from the Beeb on an incorrect name which I used once when I couldn't connect on jazzme - suppose we must be happy that we are still able to make contact.

Hi Trish,
Yep it sure is cold these nights - sorry I missed last night replying but I didn't get on line at all. At least we seem to have missed the storms that hit Welsh Wales today !!
Do I gather from your day 2 aerobics day 2 patches that these are your hobbies? I did yoga for 4 years at evening classes until this year - and my wife does patchwork quilting.

Hi Trish,
aeorobics is too strenuous for my tender years to cope with - even the yoga was getting a bit difficult in places, old knees don't bend too easily. Do you go to classes locally or in Wallsend?
I found giving up smoking very easy - I used to stop every night at bedtime - and start again after breakfast! Eventually I took the bull by the horns and just stopped - permanent about 40 years ago.
Wasn't easy because I smoked 40 a day - non-filter tipped but it was worth it! Just think of the money I've saved - I wonder what happened to it?
I popped into the tea shoppe the other night but missed you - you were there so better wear a in your hair the next time so I'll recognise you. In fact here's one to remind you
Jazz
