Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Started conversation Dec 8, 2003
I came,
I read your page,
I nearly ran away again.
Then I saw the skull. I like the skull. Much more my kind of thing.
So I'll stick around a bit longer: how are you, this fine December day?
Bah, humbug!
Boxing Baboon 2 Posted Dec 8, 2003
im just great thanks .my space is all over the place at the moment how are you?
Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Posted Dec 11, 2003
Oh, fair-to-middling, thank you. I'm sure your space is very nice, to those less humbug than I.
I've never met a boxing baboon before. Were you born that way, or did you have to work to achieve it?
Bah, humbug!
Boxing Baboon 2 Posted Dec 11, 2003
i was born with hands faster than light. when your young and get into fights as a kid i noticed i was hitting 5 of then even before they knew what happend .so i moved onto boxing and became the greatest heavy weight boxer of all time leaving the likes of ali tyson and lewis in my wake mike tyson tried to eat my ear but found himself eaing my gloves
Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Posted Dec 13, 2003
Listen, I don't know much about boxing, but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to wear the gloves on your ears!
Still, I wouldn't like to get on your wrong side.
With hands faster than light, I guess you must be some kind of primate superhero. Do you wear tights and a cape? (If so, please tell me they're not red and green, with baubles!)
Bah, humbug!
Boxing Baboon 2 Posted Dec 14, 2003
nope im not a superhero thats what i tell myself. my followers dont think that though they think im awsome and their right.and i dont wear a cape ?
Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Posted Dec 15, 2003
So just the tights and boxing gloves, then. Blimey! Your nemesisises must kill themselves laughing when they see you.
It's nice to see modesty in a superhero, though. If I ever get attacked by Mike Tyson, I'll call for you. What should I shout, to get your attention?
Bah, humbug!
Boxing Baboon 2 Posted Dec 16, 2003
shout the word rapist .and will think of mike tyson straight away. and be there in a jiffy.and rearrange is mush .i gave him special treatment for whats hes done to women .crash bang wallop and lets hear no more.
Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Posted Dec 18, 2003
I think I get the idea, now. So, if I was attacked by Chris Eubank, I should shout, "fashion victim!" because of his jodhpur-wearing tendencies, and if I was attacked by, let's say, Uri Geller, I should shout "charlatan!" because of the spoon thing. Then you'd hear my cries and fly (can you fly?) to my rescue, as it were. With your tights flapping heroically in the breeze.
I've been talking to Princess of Hearts lately, and she says I should ask you who Nosey Parker is. Who is Nosey Parker?
Bah, humbug!

Hi. We haven't spoken for a while--I hope I didn't say something to upset you.
Although I specialise in gibberish, I can hold a sensible conversation from time to time. I'm not really sure what sort of things you're interested in, though.
Did you have a nice New Year?
Bah, humbug!
Boxing Baboon 2 Posted Jan 3, 2004
no you didnt say anything to upset me .my newyear was great how was yours?
1 thing i hope you dont mind me being a pain who are you?
Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Posted Jan 3, 2004
I forgot it was New Year's night, and went to bed early. Then I was woken with a hell of a jolt at midnight, by fireworks going off outside the house.
By "who are you", do you mean, have we spoken on another thread? I don't think so, but I saw your smileys on the "if you're grumpy and you know it" thread. The fact that you didn't say anything made you a bit mysterious, so I dropped by your personal space to find out what sort of person you might be. As I'm Christmas-phobic, your decorations came as a bit of a shock!
My previous incarnation was called Sideliner, but during the last h2g2 alterations, the site stopped recognising me and I had to pretend I was new.
Oh, and you're not being a pain! I'm not easily offended, so long as you don't eat crisps noisily in my ear.
Bah, humbug!

i wont be going anywhere near your ear. anyway ive moved spaces now that was my xmas page but im still chatting on this thread .
Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Posted Jan 5, 2004
Oh--is that what you meant when you said, "my space is all over the place at the moment"?
Are your interests listed somewhere, then, or are you equally mysterious on your other spaces?
Bah, humbug!
Boxing Baboon (half here an half there ) Posted Jan 6, 2004
no thats when the comptuer goes awol and pictures end up in different postions .+ive nve not got any interests to write down so you wont see any
Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Posted Jan 6, 2004
No interests?
"ive not got any interests"
What, none?
What about music? Are there any bands or songs you like to listen to?
You seem at least slightly interested in boxing, but sadly, all I know about that is that Sylvester Stallone has to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee, so I'd get out of my depth very quickly, talking about that.
I hope I'm not too persistent for a complete stranger. I know that many people have limited time to use h2g2, so if you'd rather spend your time posting to other people, just let me know and I'll understand and move on.

only joking i dont like box boxing its painfull .its a good job im not on the reciving end of it .my music tastes ar are elvis frank sinatra and the beatles. i like sc-fi and documentries.and im a sport fan
Bah, humbug!
Snailrind Posted Jan 6, 2004
Well, your favourite music is stuff that I like but don't know much about. I normally prefer goth and rock music, though these days I'm tending more and more towards jazz and funk; so maybe I'll be listening to more Sinatra in the near future.
My has been teaching me to appreciate sci-fi. I am now a bit of a Trekkie, and a fan of writers like Philip K Dick and Iain Banks. I used to think sci-fi was a load of boring twaddle, but I've had to eat my hat on that one. Of course, I've been a fan of the late, great Douglas Adams from the start.
As for sport, I love extreme sports. I only like team sports if I'm around someone who's into them, as their enthusiasm rubs off onto me. So, being Welsh, I like rugby! What about you?
What sort of documentaries do you prefer, or do you just like learning about everything?
Bah, humbug!
Boxing Baboon (half here an half there ) Posted Jan 6, 2004
