Don't know if it's a sign, omen, or harbinger of death, but, that's twice in less than two weeks i've encountered a reference to the Fugs. Gotta admit, it's making me a little nervous.
BTW, have you heard of The Flock? No big. Just curious.

The Flock?
Nope, not outside an evangelical revival. But then there are many I've never heard of, and, coincidentally, have never heard of me, so I suppose that makes us even.
Could Ken Weaver or Tuli Kupferberg still be alive or dead and hovering about like an evil sprite putting words in my head?
Power to the people! Film at eleven. And have a nice day whether you like it or not. Film at eleven? My gawd, that's positively mesozoic!

They might have been one of the first truly grunge bands in history. Their lyrics pushed the limits of bourgois propriety at a time when it desperately needed to be pushed over the edge. Unfortunately, they didn't push hard enough to matter much, but for a time they managed to get away with it. I think they might have recorded three albums in all.
