Mam got the results of her scan today, not good...
The main mass is in her bowel, the ones on her brain are secondary, as we knew.. She also has secondary on her lungs too...
She's now waiting for a colonoscapy or summat, they'll do a biopsy while they're in there... They won't actually do any major surgery, just a biop, and maybe any lazer surgery they see fit... The thing is, is to make sure the mass doesn't close the colon, they have to keep it open for obvious reasons...
Chemo and radiation would cause more side effects than do good, and the mass wouldn't respond to it much anyway...
It's a case of waiting and praying now...

I hope her comforts and personal choices will be number one to the professionals.

I hope her colon stays open without being bothered by any more procedures after this.

i know its difficult for you, but try to be with her as often as you can. talk to her. remind her of the better things in her life.

its not an easy time for any of the family right now. been there done that.

Aww....I do hope the main priority of the hospital is that she stays as comfortable as possible; good that they aren't going to subject her to aggressive treatment if there isn't much point.

Poor you, all you can do is, as the others say, be with her & keep her spirits up.
