I've been away from h2g2 for a while, and have only recently begun to come back to it, in a gradual sort of a way.

Nothing for YOU to be sorry about! I have been neglecting all of my friends very badly since around May, when I separated from Gothly. I did get your email, and was pleased to receive it, and I'm sorry I didn't reply. You are one of several people who have contacted me recently to ask if I'm still friends with them.

How are you? Have you got a computer, or are you still using your digibox?

I had a big op in september,due to my lung collapsing several times,empysema being the cause,but i'm on the mend now!
Got made redundant as well in september,rent increase blah blah blah,i was really upset,i was so happy there,so i'm outta work yet again!.
My son had another baby (well his partner did )i have three granddaughters now!

I'm finally getting a computer,my daughter bought my granddaughter a laptop for christmas it was really cheap at pc world, so i gotta wait til' chrimbo,otherwise my granddaughter will suspect something

Hey.

This Saturday I'm going to visit Gothly for the first time since our breakup. I hope it will go ok. We've spoken to each other a few times by phone, and that went well.

I'm still on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales, but in a much more rural place than before: a little village surrounded by fields and woods. I'm sharing an old Quarrymen's cottage with two students who are really great housemates. I'm currently looking into ways of seeing the world with no money.

The op sounds like a hell of an experience. Glad you're on the mend. I see it's a thing to recover from slowly.

Yeah i'm ok now,it was very scary at the time,it's called a spontanious pneumothorax anyone can get it!It can take upto 6 months for it to heal.

I applied for a managers job with Acorns,the childern's charity,they phoned today while i was out,so fingers crossed they will phone back.
