Hi Sam!
Just out of interest, was the anagram of ANGEL ESMI
really 'malignees'(?) ? I thought it may have been
'magnetise' (T for L). Wotcha say?

Hi Sole no the word was semiangle, I just happened upon it when I was double checking semantics as I had nothing prepared, sorry if its a bit out of the ordinary.

Thanks for responding so promptly. I seem to remember rejecting
'semiangle' as being fanciful...after all, an angle is still an angle even when it's bifurcated....and I was so attracted to
'magnetise'......

Hi Sole, well i'm glad your back in your old home, bet it feels real cumfy, wish I could say the same, I seem to be working ok just at the moment but I had to cancel the guy today because of work so its Saturday now. I almost achieved the sasser worm thingy but I got booted but I did manage the report and it didn't say that I was infected and i've done a virus check, again, and it's still coming up with nothing. The report only said that I had one piece of info not covered by a firewall so I managed the firewall download to stop it coming on to my computer but nothing else, might have another try later.
Well if I were you I wouldn't mention two Rudest Elf's to Gordon, it might to be too much for him! I guess it's been a bit quiet on 'Anagramitis' no doubt that will be changing, your skive is over, time to get back to work

Sole, I downloaded a programme called The Stinger, and when I did a scan it showed I had 88 files affected by the sasser worm. Looks like we will have to run our programme each night after we've been online, we may be picking it up on h2g2 as you don't need to download anything to get it.
I don't really know if my computer is better or not but at least I feel better having got rid of it for the time being anyway. I'm glad I went back to do the next process, unfortunately I couldn't find the original one I was on but when I saw the Stinger I thought I might as well download it. Only time will tell now whether i'm back to square one or not.

Hi Sam,
Thanks for the link...unfortunately, I can't seem to get past the front page (probably need to join). I'm about to post my stuff... might try again later.

Sam,
It does look as if I'd have to join, but I don't feel inclined just now. One thing's for sure, the Dude certainly has a lot of ammunition at his disposal (or is that just me being unkind again?). Finding anagrams that are amusing in themselves is not so difficult, but the anagram in context is usually the most rewarding and is unlikely to be covered by these awards.

Yes Sole he sure does, but he's a nice guy and I have a project that i'm working on with him, very early stages just now but it will be there for all to see in time... I've not joined either but I do go window shopping, some of the poems that are transferred to anagrams are something else.. I can spend hours in there just reading..
I also meant to say to you that I found a good dictionary... well lots of them really, its called "One Look" and its brill.. think its www.onelook.com, if you don't have it it's worth adding to your favourites.
