I'm from Fife on the East Coast of Scotland, work in accounts but glad it's the weekend.. I love h2g2, only had this computer for a couple of weeks and theres the whole internet out there but I can't seem to drag myself away from here..

I can't promise that i'll be able to help but if I can I will, i've done a few pages for new members just to get them started but I think you have to want to do the pics before guide ml gets into your brain... I sometimes get my 's in the wrong order to start with but I just muck around with it till it works

1st question for you (1 of many, I'm sure) - how do I get my page to bring up a "Hi (insert person's name)"?

Oh please excuse me I fell asleep last night at my keyboard and missed your message but that is an easy question and maybe you have the answer by now... but its called a Viewer Tag and you just type however, if you are having trouble with spaces between your words and the viewers name you can do it both work.

It's good to meet you Harm, one thing we both agree on is the weekend, i'd had a particularly hard week too so it was nice to get finished on Friday..

Thanks for the info! I've done some work on my page and am pretty happy with it for now - I haven't yet been able to get the VIEWER thing working. Will try again tomorrow...

Hi Harmony, i'vehad a look at your page and its looking good the little puppy on the phone is a favourite of mine, i've used it for a few of the pages i've done... the viewer tag is very easy and it should work, but remember it says hi to you because it is your page, sorry if that sounds condecending but I know of others who got a bit confused when they saw their own name... i'll do it again in a phase...

about the delay, I've always got my head down doing anagrams and I tend to miss messages...

Oh there's not a lot to tell really, love rock/heavy music don't care too much for tv, but following I'm a Celebrity just now arrgh those spiders! i'm glad I live in Scotland.. I tend to spend most of my free time on here, although I do have the occasional night out with my mate and enjoy dancing... i'm single, no kids but have a lovely laid back old cat, who I love to bits..

Like you I have a hard week in front of me, I sometimes wonder if it will ever be normal again!

What's "I'm a celebrity"? Is it a reality TV show? Not into TV much myself, except for being a Buffy fan (guess my page gave that away to you, hey!) I do like the odd reality show - love to see what real people do under pressure! I'm a (dare I say it) die-hard Big Brother fan. BB4 will be commencing here in April.

Well you know I'm from Australia...I'm happily married (for 8 and a half years now). We have no children, just a dog, cat and fish. People constantly ask if we are going to have kids, and can't believe it when we say, "no, don't really want them!" I guess it is exceptable if you CAN'T have them, but to NOT WANT TO - shock horror!

Work full-time, and have 2 part-time businesses. I start part-time study next fortnight as well, so life is pretty hectic in these parts!

ry I thought you would have known what I'm a Celebrity - get me out of Here was as its coming from Australia (I think) and yes it's a reality thingy... I did watch some of the BB shows but didn't bother with the last couple...

I am self-employed and some jobs I do the full accountancy bit producing monthly management accounts and others its just a bit of book-keeping and wages etc.. i'm trying to cut the various jobs down to do more at my main job, but the others don't want to go!! been trying to get rid of them for a few months now but I think i'm too soft with them...

I've never had kids either although I was married at one time but i'm quite happy being the independant female at the mo.. I'll stick with cats they just look after themselves and only ask for a pet when it suits them, mines spoiled rotten tho, she eats like a queen and acts like one too...


What are you going to be studying?

Accounting! LOL - Just started a new business and will have staff and lots of bookwork, so I thought it would be an idea to get a clue - I have no idea at the moment!

All I remember is being REALLY bad at maths at school....

Harmony it's got damn all to do with maths these days.. the computers do all that and if the cash books are hand written then I use an adding machine... I personally love the hand written cash books but i'm an old fashioned girl in some respects but at the same time to produce lots of sets of accounts then you need a good accounts package such as Sage, don't know if thats a worldwide package or not but if you've heard of it thats the one to get, does wages invoicing, everything you would need for your business.. its expensive but would pay for itself over and over..
