Not heard anything from you for a while, AR1,

Went swimming lateish today with little and thought about you. Poor thing hasn't been for quite a while - my tum now appears to be fully healed now - previously, it has got infected after trips to the baths (chiz, chiz), but now all appears to be well with it. I've been really suprised that it's taken as long as it has to sort itself out.

I thought of you particularly as you used to be a swimming teacher. Little had been learning to swim - fairly slowly, as he was more interesting in playing and splashing about than learning. Now he appears to have forgotten much of what he's learned. He has difficulty breathing when he swims, and so can only swim as far as a breath will take him. I wish I knew how to help him. You would have been proud of me - I had a go down the Giant Anaconda - a truly large slide. Only the once, mind!

As you may have seen on Gnomon's space, we went to see the Prisoner of Azkaban yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you haven't yet got to the cinema, do try to go - it's great to be a kid again!

I've been wondering if you did get round to having a tattoo, or if you've had second thoughts. I suspect if you had had it done, you would have told us about it!

So glad you are now able to swim. I would love to teach little to swim.
No, I have had other things on my mind so have not got around to having a tatoo done.
At ther moment we are both trying to get ourselves used to living apart.
when do you leave on your holiday?
Yes I saw the posting abut the film. I shall try and see it and also try and get the books.

PS Have just spent two wonderful days watching the D day "celebrations".So was weeping tears of joy, and sadness and admiration most of the weekend!!/

Quick reply, AR1 as it's almost my bed-time.

We're off on the 1st of July. I've not caught most of the D-Day stuff as I've had work to do. What I've seen of D-Day itself takes my breath away as being the most fearfully terrifying thing to have been part of.

Yes, I'm able to swim again and it would be great to be in the pool together. I would love to learn from you how I can help little to swim.
